I'll probably just drive up there myself, cuz I don't live to far from JSU. I live in South Alabama, so I can just get on I85 toward Altanta and then switch off to I65 and go straight there.

That stinks. I might go back to Cavaliers, but I still think that texas is too far away, so I might do Crossmen, Teal Sound, or Spirit.

I haven't paid my fees yet, but I'm probably going to pretty soon. I can't wait till 21-23 either. I think it'll be great. I love the choice of music, and I do think it will be a good challenge, but I also think it will help us get the technical points we need in order to make those high finals scores. I'm really looking forward to it. I've also gotten a tenor, three snares, and several basses from my school that will most likely be there as well, so It sounds like there is going to be a pretty good turn out at the camp, which will be nice, especially if we can get enough people to have sopranos (G or Bb, I don't care (= ), Mellophones (altos), Tenors (Baritones/valved trombones), baritones (Euphoniums, bass trumpets), and Contras. That would be awesome if we had enough people to have all of those sections, or at least most of them. I'm especially looking to see what they're going to do with the guard though,l because I think with New Day Rising that there will most likely be some humongous flags in the fifth movement, like at the end of Star of Indiana 1991, and probably some great wings sections in the slow second and fourth movements. I also hope they extend the ending to have a "park it, spread em', blow, and rip their faces off" ending, which would be amazing. I think if we get really good by finals me might be able to cause some cry and throw babies moments in the crowd, which would also be awesome. Anyways, I'm going to stop rambling random DCI jokes at you =P.

I did actually. Magic of Mobile. I've been talking to Tom and Jeff and they both want me to play lead soprano 1, but that would also require me to be a student caption head, which may or may not be fun, since this is just the first year that this corps will be started. I'm actually seriously considering doing it though, because if we can all get the whole corps, or at least part of it, into a positive, productive, and disciplined mentality, then we might be able to do what Star of Indiana did and make it to finals our first year of competition. I'm just a little worried that the section might not listen to what I may have to say like they would to a caption supervisor. But I have definitely been thinking about it. It would also be a lot easier than doing Cavaliers again this year, because they're not going to have auditions in Atlanta, so I would have to fly into Austin or Chicago for auditions, which would not be fun in our nation's current economical situation.

good job at the contest today! I think you guys should have gotten second instead of Fairhope. Their marching was horrible, and so were their intervals, but, oh well. I know you guys will do better at the REAL competitions than at the "popularity contests". lol =) Great Job.

Sweet. We got new Uni Jackets this year too. They look the same, but the Gold & White is reversed and we have a trojan head on the left flap and gold vestees. also, they say Daphne on the shoulder.

I'm not sure when we're going to perform, but maybe we'll get there early enough to set up the tent with enough time between each other's shows. so, who should I ask for when I invade your band's space? =P

We are indeed. Are y'all gonna' be there? I hope so. Our band seems to be really good this year, so I think we'll at least put up some good competition =P. Do you think you might want to come over to the Daphne Band tent and have hamburgers and hot dogs with us? You can bring some friends if you like. We'll have plenty of drinks and stuff too. We're usually over by the baseball stadium.

it wasn't that good we watch a recording of it we barely made our 1's the overall band made it by 1 point
