I play the best instrument in the world - the trombone in marching band and wind ensemble at North Iredell High School! This year I am a sophomore and on the leadership council in the band (Ensemble/Equipment Manager). I will also be the unofficial section leader of the trombones.
Our section leaders make sure their section is doing what they need to be doing and help the captains with their job.

I judge mostly on if the show is appealing to me, if it is boring it will probably get a 7, for every transition problem I see, I debate myself on whether to go down a point or not. I usually give 7's and 8's, 9's are for really great stuff and I have only ever given one 10.
