Currently in my third year with the Paschal Panther Band...incoming pit section leader, third chair percussion in Wind Ensemble (top band) and Orchestra. I'm the guy on the right in the pic (horrible shot, I know, but it was either that, or me as my percussion instructor on Halloween with the "Angel of Death.").

Favorite corps...I'm a percussionist. Phantom. 'Nuff said. (I do, however, also like The Cavaliers, Crown, and Bluecoats.) Band-wise...can't go too far wrong with L.D. Bell and Marcus high schools. I also know a couple of people in Richland High School's band, so they're up there as well for me.

Design philosophy: Start writing. Themes will happen (see "Corps Contrasts," by me...random drill up until it hits the Crossmen logo). Don't force them; otherwise you'll end up with dreck (see "Pacman 2: Revenge of the Dots," by me...random drill until Pacman starts eating, and then gets sick. Very, very lame...I'm amazed it scored above a 60).

Judging philosophy: How technically proficient is it? Does it make any impact? Does it keep the judge's attention? Basically...don't run people over (or worse, make your bass line mass murderers), have a theme that relates to the drill, and don't bore me, and you'll get a good score...unless I'm half-awake. All bets are off when I'm half-awake.
