My profile pic is a pic of a pumpkin my friend carved for the DCI Pumpkin Contest. I had the idea, he carved. We didn't win, but were an honorable mention.
Hey, my name is Dave and I'm from Trumbull, CT. I participate in other marching arts-related websites- my username there is umasstpt12
I'm a freshman at UMass and major in sport management. I play trumpet for the UMass Minutemen Marching Band. I'm currently in the running for a spot on Jersey Surf's cymbal line. If I don't make it, I hope to get a brass spot, if not, I'll most likely be marching with 7th Regiment.
I went to Trumbull HS from 2004-2008. I was in marching band for all four years and indoor percussion ensemble for three years (on the cymbal line). In band, we won two Class V MAC Championships and Connecticut State Championships in 2006 and 2007. In winter percussion, we placed 8th, 11th and 2nd in 2006, 2007 and 2008 respectively at WGI Championships in Scholastic Open Class.

The last picture is me with 6 of my closest friends at prom (I'm all the way to the right). We were all seniors and all played trumpet so we definitely had a common connection. We all went our own ways in college now though, and I miss those guys a lot.
